TexShare is a consortium of Texas libraries joining together to share print and electronic materials, purchase online resources, and combine staff expertise.
TexShare services are available to patrons of participating member libraries all across Texas, regardless of institution type, size, or location. The consortium is administered by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission.
TexShare Databases
TexShare Databases are e-resources licensed for the exclusive use of Texas libraries and their patrons. Start with TexShare for homework help, health or business information, academic journals, popular magazines, genealogy, or job and career development.
To gain access, you must be a patron of the Library. You can sign up HERE if you are not yet registered with us.
Log into your account through our Catalogue, then use the TexShare link to access the Databases.
TexShare Card
The TexShare Card Program allows registered users of participating TexShare libraries to have direct, personal access to library materials not available at their local public or academic libraries.
In order to partake in the card program, You must:
- Be a registered patron of the library
- Have no outstanding fines or charges on your library account
- Must be in Good Standing at the library with a demonstrated compliance of our borrowing policies for at least 6 months.
Understand that you may also lose the privilege should you not adhere to these or cause issues with other libraries; such as losing or damaging borrowed materials.
