Receive Your Online Library Card:

 

Your online account can be a valuable tool to help you get the most out of your library!

Start HERE by signing up! An email will be sent to you with your library information.

 

Signing Into Your Account:

 

To sign in, Click the Account button in the Menu or Search Catalogue button. In the top right-hand of the website is the login option. Use the last FOUR (4) digits of your account number – located below the bar code on your card.   Your account password defaults to your last name – please change this as soon as possible after activating your account.  Password changes are made by clicking the MY ACCOUNT tab in the upper right-hand corner under  “LOGGED IN AS____”.   This will bring up a gray section with several options – the first on the left is ACCOUNT INFO – select “Update your password” and enter your new password.  Under this tab, you can also change your selections for “NOTIFICATIONS” to let us know how to notify you of any overdue notices, any reserves, and even have your checkout receipt emailed to you!

Renew Your Account

 

To renew your account, you can come to the library and speak with the staff at the circulation desk, call the library at 903-378-2206 to do so over the phone, or you could do so online. To renew online, sign into your account. Access the ACCOUNT INFO tab under the MY ACCOUNT and click the RENEW YOUR ACCOUNT ONLINE. Verify the information we have for you and finish with the RENEW ACCOUNT button. Your account will be renewed.

 

Items Out/Renewals:

 

In the same gray bar as above (My Account) you will also find a tab marked “ITEMS OUT/RENEWALS”.  This tab will list all items checked out on your account – please report discrepancies to the library at 903-378-2206 or library@honeygrove.org.  You can also Renew any or all of your items through this tab.  To renew single items, click on the “RENEW” button at the end of each item.  To renew all items – click the “RENEW ALL ITEMS” at the top of the list.  Item renewal availability varies by item depending on holds, usage, the length of time you’ve had the item, etc.  If you can not renew an item – please contact us using the information above.

 

Placing Holds/Reserves/Requests:

 

You may place holds on items by logging into your Account and then searching for the item.  When you locate the item, click on the item to expand and show all the information about the item.  IF it is available there will be a gray “RESERVE THIS ITEM” box in the left part of the information box.  Click this and a pop-up will appear asking how you want to be notified – you may choose email, phone, or text and we will let you know when the item is ready for pick-up.  Items that we don’t currently have in the collection can be purchased or checked out the item for you from another library (Inter-library Loan – ILL).  We attempt to honor all requests-however- price, availability, and appropriateness to our collection may affect our decision.  You will be notified when the item is available or if we are not able to honor your request.

 

Interlibrary Loans 

Inter-library Loans are available for items that are not purchased.  We are members of 543 library consortia of items – all at your request.  Due to postage and handling and the fact that these items are on loan from another facility – only patrons with a record of few fines and no outstanding items will be offered ILL privileges.  There is also a cost of $3 to cover expenses (postage, packing materials, etc.).   Fill out the information by checking yes on the “Is it OK to borrow from another library” and you will be contacted when items are available.
